Andreea’s story, EasyJet Cabin Crew

Andreea’s story begins with two blue eyes and a dream. The dream of becoming cabin crew for the EasyJet airline.

Said and done! She did not give up and her wish has now become a reality. She works among the clouds, smiles and lives one of the most beautiful chapters of her life.

We asked Andreea some questions related to her experience and about the path that she had to follow for fulfilling her dream.

Tell us how your career in aviation began.

I recently started my career in aviation with EasyJet based in London Gatwick. It’s the company I wanted to work for from the very beginning, but I didn’t think it would be possible.

What did you do to get the job?

In order to get the flight attendant job, I informed myself very well about the role and what it includes, as well as about the company I wanted to work for. At the same time, I highlighted my experience with people during the years.

How did you end up applying for Easyjet?

When I decided to apply for EasyJet I did not think that I would be able to pass the interview or that I would pass all the training exams.

I just thought I’d try, give myself one more chance to succeed. I focused on giving my best in order to have no regrets. The fact that I worked with you helped me a lot to get rid of my emotions.

How was the Easyjet interview? Why do you think the recruiters chose you?

The interview at EasyJet lasted about an hour and a half. I received a lot of questions about my personal experience and how I would apply my skills to the situations I would encounter on board. We talked about the company and I had the opportunity to ask them a few questions.

I think the recruiters chose me for this company because of my customer service experience, professionalism and dedication to the workplace. I’ve always loved working with people, I think they felt I was a good candidate for the flight attendant position.

What role did How to become Cabin Crew play in your journey to the clouds?

I can say that the How to become Cabin Crew Academy played the most important role in my journey, because it was the first step to discover what the role of a flight attendant really means.

I fondly remember how much I wanted to know more about aviation and how it all worked. Then I found you, wonderful people who welcome students with open arms and guide them on their way to success.

I felt very supported and encouraged, whether I had a successful interview or not. The fact that I am a shy person made me not succeed at first, but you were by my side to remind me to trust myself.

What advice do you have for those who, like you, want to conquer the clouds ?

My advice to people who want this job is to, first of all, have confidence in themselves and prepare very well for the interview. The knowledge you have is your power to move forward. If the first interview will not be successful, you should not be discouraged, “It doesn’t matter how many times you fall, it matters how many times you get up”.

If you want your dream of conquering the clouds to come true, never give up on it. Always adapt your strategy, learn, improve and don’t give up until your dream comes true.

Do you have a message for our team?

I want to thank you for all your support, because you believed in me when I didn’t. I follow you with love and I always remember the first day when I walked into the classroom and Anca had her arms wide open to me.

I love to see that despite the events that have happened in recent years you have been there to give those who want to achieve their dream the first wings to a successful career.

I’m a sentimental person and I would love to step again one day on Frumoasa Street, where my magic began.

Keep making dreams come true!
